Awesome Birthday Hike

Such an amazing hike today on Joan's birthday

We went to a place called Stave dam trail it was a trail that leads from the road all the way up to the point it is awesome steep and very beautiful.

There is no public bathrooms and it is so very important to put pets on a leash and have children near you at all times because there are so many cliffs and you dont want anyone falling off. That being said lets start our trip.

This trail is one that Joan has been wanting to go to for years but for some reason or another we always forgot to go until now.

There are stairs right at the road going up into the trail and so awesome to see.

The trail right at the beginning it starts to gets steep but then there is a really cool bridge you go along

And so many beautiful trees

So steep you might need a hand =)

When we get half way up there is a road the goes three ways, we took left to see what we could find.

And this is what we found.

We quicly found our way back up the trail to the very top to the look out point the trail again was steep right away and this time was gravel at least for the first part.
