Whonnock Lake

Whonnock Lake is in Maple Ridge BC map Just about 10 min drive from my house and over an hour to walk there.

When we went this last time they have been doing some work on it around the play ground and other parking areas we were still allowed in the play ground and the beach was still open.

There is public washrooms and dags are allowed on leash there is a gazibo, picnic tables and a hall and out door garden for weddings and events.

The play ground had fencing around it and some construction bins near it but it was still a nice place to play.

The lake is such a beautiful place to visit and of course who wouldnt want to play in the water

On this trip we took a trip along a path that we had not been on before

Then we came across a wooden path that goes down to a dock where there was people fishing

Lots of trees and very beautiful

On the dock there was a nice place to sit and take a nice picture of everyone

And as we walk down the dock we saw so many wonderful things like a place to look into the water, a view looking back up and of course looking straight out on to the beautiful Lake
