Alouette lake

Alouette lake is in Golden Ears Provincial park Map here

Even though it was a rainy day we just couldnt help but to go somewhere beautiful and Golden Ears is just that. it is so beautiful driving through the park and although we were not dressed for a wet hike we were dressed to go visit the lake so we went to the big Lake called Alouette Lake it is surrounded by mountains, even on a rainy day it is a great place to be. It has been upgraded and there is a path that is more open on the first parking area making it easier for wheele chairs and elderly with walkers. Dogs are not allow on this part of the beach. There is a washroom and a path all the way to the beach as you can see here.

Once down to the the lake you can see all the rain clouds covering the mountains the lakeis big and all is grey but I still find this beautiful.

It is really nice to walk along the beach even in the rain

And what a perfect place to throw some rocks in the water some were so big Loki needed some help.

THe tree line usually has mountains behind it but today is clouds

The clouds tried to cover the mountains but we still were about to see its beauty.

And of course some time to throw rocks by himself

And even the geese love this place even if it is raining..

There are picnic tables and lots of places to have a nice lunch or dinner it is really a nice visit and yes we enjoy it rain or shine.
