Brae Island Trail map
Loki and I took a trip to Brae Island Trail for the first time and it was a lovely place it was a mix day of rain and sun so we have really cool photos to share.
There is camping there RV, Campers and even tents are welcome and there is also a day area where you can park and head out on the trail.
This is a friend place in Fort Langley BC.
Right at the parking lot at the beginning of the trial there is a washroom and garbage area and a sign with a map on it and info about the park.

The trail is so open and leads off in two different directions one to the water and one to the trail. Before you head anywhere there are picnic tables to use right away if you dont have much time to visit and want somewhere nice to just sit and relax.

The water was our first stop and what a beautiful site it was it has sandy beach and some grass and really nice view of the river and across the river is a view of Fort Langley and some of the stores.

There was so much to do run and play and of course throw stuff in the water maybe next time we will take a bucket to play with in the sand. The path back up was really done up nice with the rocls and stones very cool looking. There is a bench to sit on in the grass over looking the river.

The trail is open and full of grass with many trees and picnic talble along the path.

As we walked down the trail we came across another place where we can go to the water and it was another beautiufully laid out with rocks and stones.
and beautiful sandy beach.

Dogs are able to be on the beach as well and off leash as long as they are under control, and we were visited by one who was off leash and didnt have an owner near them, I reminded Loki to not run after it as we were unsure who owned the dog and we needed to respect it. The owner showed up and they continued of their way. I did not get pictures it happened so fast but a good reminder to make sure your children know the strange dog rules.
The sky was cloudy and blue skys, sunshine and rain and the clouds were really awesome I thought.

There is a really nice open grassy area with some picnic tables and fencing around to stop you from going over the cliff into the water.
Oh course Loki had to have rest on the grass and then a friend came up and visited with him.

Loki thought the fences where for climbing on of course.

The trail its self has some amazing trees tall and all are starting to get their new leaves for spring.

The trails are so lovely and we came up to a trail to walk down to a look out point which was fenced off so you didnt fall, but you could look out in the water.

Walking down the path we saw a side trail and we had to explore dont the path we saw an open meadow and a way to the water, there were some awesome trees and it just looked so beautiful..

Although there was more to see, like another look out and a loop but today Loki was a little tired from our walk so we just did this little walk next time we will take some food and have a picnic.
As we were leaving we decided that it was time to have some fun at the picnic talbles

and of course there is some flowers...

There are more awesome photos on our galleray and come visit on our facebook page
